Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I initially contacted Dave because I had a puncture on my Brompton bicycle, and while it was with him, I also asked him to carry out a full service.

From the start, Dave was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and what the service would involve. There was no pressure or unnecessary work recommended—just honest, knowledgeable advice.

The quality of the repair and service was outstanding. My Brompton now rides like it’s brand new, and the difference is remarkable. On top of that, the price was very reasonable for the standard of work carried out.

I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and professional bicycle mechanic. I will definitely be using his services again in the future

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service. Knowledgeable and friendly advice given when I needed some work done on my road bike. Sadly the bike was beyond help, but the honesty shown was refreshing and I will certainly use Bike Mate again when I am back on the road.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great service from David today, replaced my inner tube, advised that I didn’t need a new tyre which I thought I did, and charged a fair price for the job. Very happy, recommended

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. David took in my road bike that i use only for my turbo / Zwift. He was very helpful and thorough throughout the process and following the work completed, (service and fixing a few issues) i put the bike back on the turbo and it felt like a new bike. I will be using David again and highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My 13-year-old was given a bike in pretty rough condition, and I took it to Dave hoping he could bring it back to life. Not only did he turn it around in just one day, but the bike looks like new now! Even better, he came in under the original estimate. If you need any bike service or repairs, Dave is your go-to person!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a great find david is! I took my ebike to him because the gears were slipping. He took it out for a ride and soon identified the problem. He showed me the part I needed to fix it, showed me the total cost, and then when the part arrived, he had my bike in while I was at work and repaired it for me and also adjusted the brakes which were rubbing and pumped up my tyre. Riding my bike now feels like its brand new! I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else, david is a really professional lovely man. I highly recommend him.
Took my bike to david again because it toppled over and messed with the gears, he fixed it in super quick time and also found me a bike stand which he is going to fix onto my bike when it arrives, top man!
